Just lost my macbook pro to a tragic accident involving a cup of water and can't afford to replace it now. I work from home so I need a replacement ASAP. Most likely will be a dual-boot with Ubuntu and Windows 7. I'm not much of a gamer, but do like the option to indulge myself from time to time (not too interested in running the latest games at the highest settings though). Also I do a fair amount of audio editing/recording. The ideal would be as cheap as possible to start ($400-$500 would be great!) with potential to upgrade as I acquire the funds. This will be my first build.
