You should be able to play on high settings without a problem at that resolution

A GTX 550Ti would be a big step up from a 210 and the Corsair will handle things fine.
If you can get a few more dollars this video card is going to have a slight edge over the 550Ti due to the 256 bit video bus. HIS H679F1GD Radeon HD 6790 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16
This might give you an idea of what a 550Ti will do in BF3. Look at the GTX 460 benchmarks as they more closely approximate a 550Ti in this case.

It will be sufficient enough to play bf3..IMO I'd try to get a 560ti at least. there coming down in price. and get at least a 500-550watt psu for it and you'll be set.

Look for xfx/corsair/antec they all make psu's in that range. and for fairly cheap.

Agreed - I am using a 560 and a 560ti (especially the ones with 448 processing cores) would be a nice way to run on high settings without hiccups on the Karkand maps. Might also be worth it to double your system RAM down the road.
