No sound device

Hello,
i have just re built my system with an asrock extreme 4, with an i5 and got rid of my fx4100 on an asus m5a97 pro but the system now says there is no sound device at all, but everything is plugged in correct and the onboard drivers have updated, my X-fi is lighting up and seated properly but the drivers say no device is there any help plz people im ready to punch the machine even if it is 4 hours old

List the system specs. Theres only like a dozen boards asrock named the extreme 4
