Hello,
My graphics card has gone weird and I'd like to know if it's kaputt.
[display is Samsung syncmaster 943n]
It's a Geforce 7800gt - has two DVI outputs. A few days ago both worked fine. Now when I boot XP on one of the outputs the display looks fine until after the XP loading flag shows - then it just stays blank. On the other output the screen stays on but there are No Greens on the display.
How this happened:
I connected a laptop vga to the monitor and it wouldn't work until I put the laptop into sleep and then woke it up again. This worked fine on the laptop but after this my PC graphics won't display right.
I checked the display with another PC/gfx card and it works fine.
Also, when I try to access the monitor menu while using the gfx port that shows blank after windows loads the display shows a vga icon on screen with a slogan "Test Good", but no menu.
Any help is appreciated.
