Btx and atx psu replacment

I was wondering if i could replace my btx powersupply in my dell optiplex 745 desktop with an atx powersupply? Please reply and tell me what you know with btx and atx configuration

yes they are the same with a few extra cables. Its just the mobo is backwards on btx. As long as you have the same connectors.

The "desktop" model can't use an ATX psu, not a problem if you have the mini tower

well that sucks. but thanks anyways, and is there any way i could get a powersupply for the desktop thats 500 watts or greater

ebay might be your best bet and 300watt is the biggest I see.
