Restarting after safe boot win7

i need to enter safe mode, but i can't. after choosing it computer restarts. this is random time since choosing. sometimes just after still having black screen, sometimes after splash loaded, sometimes during entering the password. when it lets me to enter the passoword, it finds out that the password is not correct, when i am 100% sure this is correct. What do you think it is?

I think your hard drive has crashed....run a hard drive test in DOS with HIRENS...
