Gaming PC

Hello,
I wanted to ask you about my gaming PC. I am trying to assemble a gaming pc since it will be cheaper and suit my requirements of playing the latest games (like Battlefield 3,Fifa 12,etc).
I have a problem choosing between Intel i5 2500 and 2500K.
Also please tell me what all other components (i.e the components should be bought from which brand and their specifications )should I buy with my chosen processor. The list includes:
CPU Cooler, RAM, Motherboard, Graphics Card, Power Supply, Cabinet, HDD, SSD, Optical Drive.
All I want is good performance and I am looking for a 4GB RAM and 1TB hard disk and want to know if I have to buy an external CPU cooler with the i5 processor.
It would be better if everything can come around $550-600

2500k .... but everything for $500-600 I can't put a well balanced system together w/ a 2500k for that budget.
