Should I wait for the next AMD gaming cpu?

I ordered a Hyper 212+ to overclock my phenom 965 BE to 4.0ghz but I'm not sure if I should just wait for the next AMD processor such as the new Trinity CPU to install at the same time as the heatsink.

Basically I just need to know if the next CPU that AMD is releasing will be a reason to replace an overclocked 965.

From what's known today Piledriver seems to be a significant improvement over Bulldozer and Phenom II. But if you have the processor today and can order the cooler today, why not just install it now? You'll have to replace at least the CPU and cooler anyway once PD does become available.

Edit: by gaming CPU I'm assuming OP is talking about the non-APU version of Piledriver, which should be on AM3+

Yeah I am talking about the AM3+ one. I just figured since it is scheduled for release in October (correct me if I am wrong) I could just wait to install both the new Piledriver and heatsink as opposed to spending my time overclocking and testing my 965.
