I just wanted some opinions on this build.

AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz 8 core
Radeon hd 7850
16gb ram
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

This would mostly be used for gaming. Let me know what you guys think.

For gaming, you are killing yourself in the wallet by getting an octacore CPU for gaming. Games don't use more than 2-3 cores, so get a better CPU like the i5-3570k.
