Approximate Purchase Date: Within 2 Weeks

Budget Range: $900.00

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming - School - Recreational (Interent, Movies, Etc.)

Parts Not Required: Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com or MicroCenter.com (Can pickup from store)

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: Intel

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No Idea

Monitor Resolution: Need Advice

Additional Comments: This is my first PC build ever so I am still relatively new to everything. My budget of $900 did not originally include a monitor as I planned on using my HDTV but have since decided I would prefer a monitor. So I need advice on what type of monitor to get with my build but it is not included in the budget as of now.

Your GPU is the primary bottleneck in this system. The 6850 will severely limit performance, even with the i5-3570k.

Changed the RAM to get the cheaper price. I still need help though since I have not really received any advice on anything yet.

Your build looks good. The only thing to do now is to upgrade your gpu using the money you have saved. The best you can do is about a 6870, or maybe a 7790 (not sure which is better).
