Yup. Making the R520 available for PC means taking into account a whole
host of different processors, motherboards, BIOS settings, memory
counts.

Making it available for the Xbox 360 means one known set of
specifications. It's much easier and Microsoft has the $$$ to make sure
theirs gets done first. :^)f

So is the r520 supposed to be the equivalent of the r500 in the 360? If so,
then that means the r580 being released at the beginning of next year will
already be more powerful than the 360 gpu and the PS3 gpu

What? They have bigger hardware than us? Bomb 'em! (Kudos to the first one
to catch this refrence).
