Is this setup good enough for me?

Hi, I'm new to this stuff as it is my first gaming PC. I want to play modern games such as Battlefield 3. Batman: AC, and other high resolution games. Here are my specs (that's what you call them, right?), will they be good enough?

Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50 Ghz 8mb

Motherboard:[CrossFireX/SLI]ASUS P8Z77-V LK Intel Z77 Chipset DDR3 ATX Mainboard

Power Supply: 1000 Watts -Standard Power Supply Crossfire/SLI Ready

8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory

Hard Drive: 2 Terabyte SATA-III

If there is anything that needs upgrading or downgrading or changed at all let me know. Any questions just ask, please help!!
