Hey,

I need help on choosing a new graphics card for my system, just so I can run games better. Currently I have an ATI Radeon 5770 (I know it's not that good but it was good for my budget at the time). Along with this GPU I have an AMD Phenom II X4 840, 4GB DDR3 RAM running on a Asus M4A78LT-M (again not that good but it was in my budget.)

Just wondering what would be a good graphics card to get for this system, it has to be fairly low budget (up to about £140ish) and it can either be nvidia or AMD also one that is good for gaming.

Would be great if someone could help.

Your 5770 is still a very good card.
If you upgrade, do not make it a small jump or you will be disappointed.

To my mind, that means a GTX560GTX560ti or or 6870/6950 class card.
That will probably bust your budget.

OCZ 500W PSU and current moniter is 1440 x 900 (do plan to change this though). Yeah was looking at a 560ti and the 6850

Yeah, you can run the GTX 560 Ti 448 (Note, it's the 448 version. Very close to the GTX 570, I HIGHLY recommend it at this price.) on a 500w. At 1440x900 you should be able to max all games out now.
