$1000 budget...any ideas?

i've got about 1000 bucks to spend and i'm not too much a hardware professional (i'm 14 ). i'm not too big on sound, so no big sound spending please. i know it's kinda hard now to buy a good pc for only 1000.

i'm only going to be using this for gaming. otherwise i'll just be using my family's laptops. i don't mind it really being prebuilt or homebuilt.
