Power requirements for Xfire unlocked 6950's

Hello,

I currently have an i5-2500K OC'd to 4.4 and one HD 6950 unlocked, OC'd to 6970 clocks (880/1375), and running with powertune at +20% in Catalyst Control Center. I'm planning on getting another one, doing the same thing to it, and putting them in crossfire. Will what I currently have, a Corsair TX650 V2, be sufficient to power all of this, or do I need to invest in a new PSU?

Yeah, you can use both GPUs with that PSU. Just keep in mind that isn't sure that you can unlock the other 6950.

So will the extra power draw from unlocking/OCing/using powertune be negligible? That power supply will definitely work? And yeah, I realize I won't definitely be able to unlock it but I'm trying to buy one that will almost guarantee I can.

Thank you, that's good info.
However it still doesn't answer my question about powertune. I guess I may just end up having to try and see what happens, I'd just like to be sure if possible beforehand.

That PSU will be enough, powertune will not add "big" power load for need a better PSU.
