Cossair H100 Cooler Not Working

How can I tell if my Cossair H100 liquid cooler is working or not
When I touched the hose, it does not appear warm not to talk of hot
and my CPU gets hot very quickily, shutting down my computer.

If the cossair H100 is good, how can I know?
I have not done any overclocking

any advice will be appreciated

RMA it now don't even bother trying to work out the issue, pump is faulty.
