What is the right graphics card for me?

Hi guys

I don't know what GPU do get!

Maybe a HD 6770 , 6790 , 6850 , or 6870! Or a GTX 460?

I want to play games maxed out but at resolutions like !

I want to play games at that res because my monitor wont accept anything above it and I dont really need the 19xx x resolutions!

Please help! I dont need the 6870 coz , again, I dont want play at res above 1366 x 768!

Please don't answer stupidly and tell me to get the 6870! I am on a budget and I want the best to play at maxed settings!

Would def reccomend a monitor upgrade in the near future to at least something that supports 1680x1050. I'd take medium settings at 1680 or 1920 over high/max @ 1366 but thats just my 2 cents. Good luck with your build

Why? I dont really want higher res because I just want to play games with good graphics no great graphics at that res man! And with high FPS!

Again this is just my opinion but 1366 is just too grainy for me and it affects the overall "graphical" experience. I would take a sharper picture over higher partical effects or whatever settings you prefer any day

I agree with arvalin_dakar.
You'll need to upgrade to a better monitor in the future.
The HD 6850 is quite cheap now, and I'd suggest you buy that one. For 1366X768, a HD 6770 would suffice.

OK I lied! My monitor can accept higher but I don't want to play at higher resolutions!

OK how bout a card to run max at 1920x1050?

An HD 6850 would be the minimum for 1920X1080.
Then comes the HD 6870, HD 6950 and so on.

yeah, anything lower than a 6850 is only decent if you're on a tight budget.

btw, what's the rest of your build?
