I have decided to return to the real gaming platform and had a new build in mind. I wont to be able to play all the latest games at decent FPS at 1080P

HD 7850
2500K
ASUS P8H61
OCZ 500W
COOLERMASTER STORM ENFORCER
8GB KINGSTON HYPER X
SONY DVDRW
SEAGATE 1TB
WINDOWS 7 64

I hope to get maximum bang for buck any advice will be great

2500k plus a H61 chipset?
Nononononono that's a bad move.

As far as I am aware, H61 doesn't support overclocking, rendering the 'k' in your CPU useless.
If you want to overclock, get a P67 or Z68 mobo.

For 2500K, you better get at least Z68 or P67 board, not H61. H61 is rather for SFF media PC, not for gaming, and I thought it was already EOL. Even P67 is getting close to EOL, I think. You can compare Z77 to other option, if you want to find some additional features.

h61 is not a real gaming chipset, and will be your bottleneck.
a ssd should be in any gaming build, i would get at least a 120gb for the os/a few games.

mobo chipsets p67, z68 or z77 asus boards not sure your budget

I don't see how a ssd can be good it does nothing to improve FPS in games and that's all I am bothered about hard gaming
so many missed titles on my list

From a gaming point of view i don't see the ssd to be much cop a decent one is like a ton
i could have a 7950 / gtx 670
or i7 3770k
what is bf3 / metro gonna like best?
load times are not an issue all PC games need massive patience (reason I had a break) a bit of loading means i can have a slash/grab a can
just my thought
