Ive been wanting to upgrade my CPU from AMD Athlon II x2 265 @ 3.3Ghz to a Phenom II x4 945 @ 3.0GHz But I do not know if my power supply will be able to handle it? The current cpu I have requires 65W and the new phenom cpu I want requires 125W. Will I be able to upgrade without power issues?

Here are my specs:
Amd athlon II x2 265 @ 3.3ghz
ati hd 5670 1 gb ddr3
asrock 880gm-le motherboard
430W PSU
2 x 2gb ddr3 ram

Solution
Yes, you will. I hope that your PSU is of nice quality, however :)

Generally speaking, your current CPU uses 65w and the Phenom II X4 945 uses 125w, that's not a very big difference in terms of system load. Realistically speaking, the Phenom II will only use around 90-100 watts during normal load.
