Awesome, thanks so much! If you have a second, how can I expect that sapphire radeon hd4870 to perform compared to the nvidia geforce 8800 gts 640 mb that I'm used to?

8800 GTS what a lovely card. Still 4870 its better one (even if you have the 512 MB version of 4870). Actually i have a 1gb 4870 saphire version whit a cuad-core phenom. I can play everything whit a good cuality spec (in general). Plus 4gb Ram DDR3-1333. But you cant use DX11.

Can either of you tell me, does the sapphire radeon hd4870 1gb card REQUIRE two 6pin power connectors? I have 1000 watt power supply but was only using one 6pin connector with my old card, not sure if I have two 6pin connectors or not.....

According to Newegg they have two six pin connectors but you could use one 6 pin to molex adapter.

So it's not possible to just use 1 6 pin connector? I'm guessing that since my power supply is 1000 watts it SHould have 2 6pin connectors, I'm hoping......

No, it will require two 6 pin connectors. I would be surprised that your 1000 watt PSU didn't have two 6 pin connectors but if by some weird chance it didn't then you're still in good shape. Use the one 6 pin connector and one 6 pin to molex adapter. Most cards come with this adapter and if yours doesn't they only cost ~$6.

Ok, I'm hoping it has 2 connectors, if not, I think he may have sent me a 6 pin to molex adapter, I'll have to look for it if I need it. Thanks so much guys!
