This is my first time building a PC and I wanted to ask someone with experience if I picked everything out right.

This rig is intended to be used for Guild Wars 2 when it comes out and casual gaming in general.

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (I feel like I could have went cheaper on this one but I'm not sure.)

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Disk Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

That's as far as it goes for everything in the tower. The rest of the cost would go into the monitor and I have a copy of "Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit"

Approximate Purchase Date: July-August

www.pcpartpicker.com
I'm pretty sure you can lower the price by going to that website then choose the same parts, it chooses the cheapest price from different websites.

This is my build. I believe that the 6850 card is much better than that Nvidia, and the motherboard can take on many upgrades

Just remove the monitor/WIFI card (If you dont need it) and it will be around 700 with rebates!

I do believe this build is better all around, and cant wait for Guild Wars 2!
