2nd drive not showing files after reinstall

I picked up a virus and had to use the reinstall option on Windows 7.

The big problem is that my 1TB secondary drive is not letting me access files (the drive is still showing space used, I just can't see it).

I have a couple months worth of pictures I'd really like to not lose.

I use a 64gig SSD for a boot drive and everything else is set up on the mechanical 1TB drive. This was a clean install about 9 months ago, both drives were new and I used a full version of Windows 7.

Really need some help with this one. Will provide any addition information needed.

put yourself back as administrator for the files on this hdd

Check for lose connection in power and sata cable.

try Changing cables power and sata

Check in Disk management, that your second drive is listed as online, it may have unmounted itself & require remounting for windows to identify it.
