Hello, is there a usb network card I can change the MAC address of. I don't want to do it in the OS, because my systems are pretty locked down. We do MAC filtering and I need a adapter I can change the MAC internally.

You can NEVER change the mac address of an adapter, you can only override it in the software driver. Sorry!

That link shows ONE adapter brand that claims you can change the physical address. So, I will alter my comment above to "Only a few specialized adapters are reported to allow you to physically change the MAC address. ALL major brands are hard coded, but you can override it in the software driver."

If you are on a locked down system then it would be against forum rules to help you further.

Meh any MAC address can be faked, the burned in MAC is only used during initial BOOTP / PXE boot. Once the OS loads you can change the MAC to anything you want.
