I am living in New Zealand, and have decided to build a new PC. I will be picking these parts up from a store in AUS, so some of these parts are not really based on the best choice, but the best-that-I-can-get choice.

CPU: i7 3930k
GPU: MSI Twin Frozr 2GD5 / OC
CPU Cooler: Noctua nh-d14 se2011
MB: Asus p9x79 Deluxe
RAM: G.Skill ddr3-1600 32GB (4x8 GB Quad Channel)
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB (256 GB if available at all...)
PSU: Seasonic 1000 Platinum (860 plat. if available)

Already have case, keyboard, HDD's, mouse...

Might get a new mouse - anyone with experience on the Logitech G9x?

Anyone see any glaring faults, let me know. And just to be clear, I am not into overclockng. I expect this PC to last at least 6 years.

...That's where the 6 year longevity bit comes in... Best that I can afford now, won't be worth much in three-4 years but will still be a good PC.

Basically, it is a Nvidia gtx 680 with a mild overclock... A Quadro isn't really a good card for daily use, nor for games so much. MSI has a pretty good reputation, so I'm OK with that choice. A good compromise for photoshop work and some gaming. Gave a 7970 some thought, but going down to only one workstation - Photoshop provides better support for the Nvidia products. (I have already sold my photoshop workstation.)
