i have an amd phenom 2 x4 945 ,4gb ddr3 ram ,750 w psu , just replaced my 4770 with a 6990 ,but instead of hitting good fps im getting low fps do u think my cpu is the one thats causing it ,is it a bottleneck for my gpu

It could be , have you tried overclocking the cpu? What is the ghz of the cpu?

Bottleneck on your CPU. You should be using 3930K or something with that GPU.

You did wrong there mate, it's waste of money to buy 6990. You better ask here first and We will tell you not to get the 6990... but instead some better cards for you so your system is 'balanced'.

i have my cpu overclocked to 3.4 ghz,will it be enough to run my 6990 without bottle necking it
