Antec 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

Asus BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer

Yes

but the mb is lower quality item with an older chip set [ p67] so look again for boards with the Z 68 or even newer Z77 chip sets

If your intention is gaming then you dont need 16 gig of RAM . Even 2 x4 gig is more than you will ever use . 1600 Mhz is fine , check the rated voltage is 1.5 or less

Only graphics professionals using 64 bit programs like CS 5 get any benefit from 16 gig , and if thats you then you have the wrong graphics card

So are you suggesting that I get a Intel mb?, also yes this is intentional for gaming and I had chosen 8 gigs and I am not sure why it was bumped up to 16 but thanks a bunch for catching that. Thank you again for the help.

I do plan on upgrading this system in the future, and if I were to then the processor would most likely be the first thing I would. So in the future I might need the ability to OC. On a side note I apologize for my lack of knowledge in this field but that is why I am here.

OK, so If I were to buy this system right now would it function that's all I really want to know. I really don't care if I am spending a bit more on a piece of hardware I just want to build it and play BF3

Okay, thank you for bringing this to my attention, also I have made an update to the mb and CPU since the last list so here is a updated list

Intel Core i7-2600 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 750GB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive

XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card

Azza CSAZ-1000 ATX Full Tower Case

Antec 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

Asus BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer

All motherboards with the same chipset perform identically . Top end models add some features you might or might not need . They also usually add large heat sinks for people who want to make really big overclocks .

I think you have a good motherboard in your list , and that its well priced . You would not get a huge benefit from paying more
