Is this enough power for 500watts?

i have a
-evga geforce 550 ti 2gb
-ASUS M5A99X Evo - AM3+ - 990X - SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 - ATX DDR3 2133 Motherboards
-amd phenom ii x4 965

Is this enough power? if it is will it be good for the next 4-8 years without dieting on me or break anything.

500 watts is plenty for that system, but not all watts are created equal.

Be sure to get a quality power supply. A good 400w would probably suffice, but I would go with 500w just to have some headroom.

im considering getting Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w Power Supply. is this good enough for my GPU, MOBO, and CPU?
