Gateway FX6840

I have a Gateway FX6840 computer and it has 2 bays in the front for hot swap SATA hard drives. I just put a 2TB hard drive in (Powered off) then powered it back on and it found the hard drive but it says 0 bytes free and used and I can not access the hard drive in any way other then the property's.

Any Ideas?

Windows7 ? If so type 'disk' in the start menu and read 'create and format partitions'
