Hey guys I'm building my first PC, and I need some help. I'd love to spend $1100 max including shipping and whatnot, and i've found a decent start (at least I think) on newegg.com. I don't know if this is the best deal or if these parts are even compatible. I appreciate all help/ suggestions for better deals! Thank you

why not get ivy bridge. its slightly faster. if you are, get the i5 3570k
for ivy bridge you will need z77 motherboards. asrock exteme4 or gigabyte z77x-ud3h are great choices. pick the cheaper one
go with 1600mhz ram. its 10% faster than 1333. you need some lower profile ram to fit them under heatsinks
get a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler. it will allow for overclocks and will make your cpu run much cooler. it is slightly better than the plus.
get a xfx 650w PSU. they look nice and are made by seasonic (=awesome)
make sure that you get the hard drive with 64mb of cache. is more faster
