Im planning on buying an Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme Plus II fan for my EVGA GTX 570 DS HD. On a YouTube video of the original cooler, the person Bought an extra heatsink pack for eir GTX 580. Is this something necessary? If so, where can I get these?

The extra heatsink might be a good idea but where does it go , that thing has to take up space somewhere and it would make the card take up a lot of space. Are you planning on extreme overclocking that you would need extra heatsinks? It seems to me that three fans would be sufficient to cool the card under full load. If you look at the picture of the Artec Accelero Xtreme plus 11 the backside shows this massive heatsink and combined with the three fans will dissapate 300w of heat.
If you go to the site you can see the accesories they have there.

I think I've figured it out. The video was made with a last gen cooler and therefore didn't come with the parts necessary for the GTX 580 and those accessory packs are for GTX 400 series cards. Sadly my case isn't quite big enough to hold the Xtreme Plus II so I'm going to be going for the Accelero Twin Turbo.
