Half the FPS until re-boot?

Hi, I have a GTX 460 1gb and it is clocked at 875 core, 2000 memory, and 1750 shaders. When I play BF3, it runs fine. When I open BF3 back up, I get half the FPS until I reboot. Does anybody know why?

was going to say you need more ram, but you dont (thats what the problem sounds like)
after looking over your pc specs i say you need a better psu! put that junker on a htpc or something. (not that i think its related to your problem, just insurance for a nice system.)

Not to be rude in correcting you, PC Power and Cooling makes soem of the best PSUs on the planet. I don't think I will be changing anytime soon. :lol:

its not rude, its just not a brand i dont recognize, which instantly puts it in the bin.

Haha! Cool.

Do you have any ideas besides memory? I don't think I use past 5gb RAM often, so I don't think that is it like you said. I am kinda boggled.
