I've asked a couple of questions @ Tom's about my system freezing up and what the cause might be. Components or software etc. It seems to randomly freeze up and I have to do a reset to get it back on and then it usually says that Windows shut down unexpectedly etc and to restart etc.
I've since then noticed that this seems to usually after the computer has been idle for a while or asleep. I've done a kind of cheap fix evasion by resetting the power settings so that the monitor doesn't turn off unless the sysytem has been idle for an hour and the system doesn't power down for 2 hours if it's been idle.
What does this suggest the problem might be since I think it only happens after a system idle? What component or software?
