So you are planning to play football games and such?

Low end graphics card would be fine for that. But first show me what is:

1. Your budget
2. Your motherboard
3. Your Power supply

looking forward for your answer so I can give you what card can you put.

1. You cant play any game without a GPU.......
2.What refillable said, budget, PSU, motherboard
3. What Power supplt are u using? Im assuming a cheapo chicken brand 400watt ?
4.HD5670 or 6670 or HD5570 depending on how much you'd like to dump, I doubt Fifa 2012 eats that much GPU power

Even that's overkill. I ran it on 9500gt 1gb ddr2 with a 1.8 ghz athlon...
But I guess he'd have to get one of those cards so that the gpu doesn't bottleneck the cpu, right?

well, then the HD5570 should fit just right then

For fifa 2012 alone an 8800GS will be more than enough. But if he wants to play on max until fifa 2025 or so, then yes, 5570 is the best option.

Well with my E6700, it bottlenecked my DDR3 6670 by around 20-30 FPS in most games. Initially in Skyrim (Only game I benchmarked), I got around 30 fps average, with drops to 20 fps being common. After upgrading to a 965 BE, I got a 40fps minimum with a couple of graphics mods and no dips in the fps.

Ideally, you'd buy a new motherboard, processor, RAM and graphics card, but...There are AMDs new processors that will come out really soon (Couple of weeks), so wait untill then if your going to do a major upgrade.

But for a graphics card? I'd say 6670 GDDR5 / 7750 / 6850, with 6670 being the weakest, and the 6850 being the strongest.
