Hello, I'm looking foward to my first new build. I've been been using this site while doing my research and figured since this is where I obtained my knowledge I would let you critique my setup. I'm planning on purchasing these parts tomorrow and just wanted to make sure I haven't overlooked anything. I am not planning on overclocking at the moment but I would like to leave that option open. This is primarily for gaming.

Solution

Unless you plan on using that RAM for a hair comb, those tall heat spreaders are going to impede any decent size cpu heat sink. Low profile RAM.

No plans for the second card right now but thanks for the advice, I will have to keep that in mind. That said, does everything look good with just the one card?

Solution

Wait until the GTX 660 is released in order to see those benchmarks before you pick up another 560. That card should go for $300 or less and it might be worth selling your 560 and picking up a 660. They are due out July/August.

Cool Thanks for the heads up!!! maybe i will sell the kids HD 5850 and give them the GTX 560 ( I cant find much benches show thos cards )

To the posted Why_Me,s build will be grate, and you wont be dissapointed.... gl with it and Enjoy :)
