My H80 broke and the stock Intel cooler is a total let down can't do even modest overclocking with it or temps shoot straight up.
I have spent most my cash to budget in two 7950's at the $300 price point dollar might as well lol :D  . lol now my budget is about $38 will this cooler cool any better then the
Stock Intel cooler? is this the one to get at my price point http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Oh yeah stupid question I think haven't a clue but will this fit in my Comos 1000 case? My friend gave me this case last year and it is rather lager but idk if it fits modern stuff well as it is from 2007.

Hyper 212 Evo will cool down that chip nicely and should fit well, only thing look out for is the bracing bar across the top.

Evo dimension H-120mm x W-80mm x D-159mm
Cosmo dimensions H-598mm x W-266mm x D-628 mm

The Hyper 212 EVO is a pretty good cooler but it's not nearly as good as your Corsair H80.You may feel a bit dissapointed by its performance. In my opinion, if you're serious about overclocking you should get a Thermaltake Water 2.0 Performer instead.

It's as good as your H80.
