2 crossfire sets

So I am running a crossfire set up with 4000 series cards, and I am wondering if i get a board that supports 4 cards, could i set up 2 crossfire sets one with the 4000 series and 1 with 7000 series

Short answer there is no, those two series cannot crossfire together, and I'm unsure how the mobo will react to the confusion, but I'm certain it would be badly :-)

no you cannot have 2 sets of different crossfire. e.g. CFX the 4000 together and cfx the 7000 together.
there can only be 1 CFX set on a board.
you could CFX 7xxx and have a 4xxx standalone. but i dont see the point.
