Will a Micro ATX Board fit in a Mini Tower Case

I have a case that my present machine is in right now. The thing is this case has no label or numbers so i don't know much about the case, except its a Mini Tower case Case Depth x Width x Height) Approx. 17.0' x 7.0" x 14.0"

I am rebuilding and purchasing a ASUS P8Z77-M PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard I am wondering if it will fit in my present case. I don't know if my present case is an ATX or what, I can tell you the board in there now is a MSI PM8M-V Socket 478 Motherboard.

Can anyone help and tell me if the ASUS will fit?

Your current board appears to be a Micro ATX.

If it fits in the case, your micro ATX Asus should also fit. (the mounting holes should line up)

Thanks i didn't think my board was an Micro ATX thats why i never looked it up, thanks so much!
  3. No problem.

The Asus is a little wider, but not much. Unless your current unit is crammed in there with no room to spare, the Asus should drop right in.
