I recently ordered a Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler for my 960t to do a bit of OC'ing and perhaps unlocking, but as I was removing the stock AMD backplate I came across a screw that was partially shredded on the head. Anyway, I tried undoing the screw like the others but the screwdriver just wasn't gripping to the screw head and it made it even worse. Now the screw is completely lodged in and what's more is I can't even put my old cooler back on for now because the plastic CPU bracket for the stock cooler is locked in at an angle...

So is there anything else I could try to remove the screw? I've tried loosening it from the other side of the motherboard with some pliers, but that didn't work either:??:.

If someone could help me out, you'd be saving me alot of trouble, and possibly about 80 quid too :D
