thats my 1000$ pc build are parts are from newegg dont hate the 480 its the same as a 570 just cheaper, don't really need a after market cpu cooler but i already have a 212+ thats a nice big case that will last awhile

The Radeon 7850 outperforms the GTX 480 once OCed.

i killed a gtx 460 by overclocking i won't be doing that again, im not very wealthy so i cant be buying a new gfx card every year

What does that have to do with anything? The Radeon 7850 is $250..

the gtx 480 is benchmarked higher than the 7870 and 7850

At stock. When you OC the GTX 480, it uses 2x more heat while the 7850 outperforms it after an OC and doesn't increase the heat.

Also, at most, at stock, the 480 is roughly 7% faster. When OCing both, the 7850 OCs more and can pull ahead.

Even at stock, the most you will see a difference is 7%.
HD 7850 user's less-power/performance.

That board is meant for dual cards so no need for that board seeing how that 750w psu is not going to push two of those old school power hog 480's in SLI. You sunk $140 in that case when you can pick off a Corsair 400R for $100 + free shipping or a Corsair 300R for $80 and free shipping at newegg or $75 and free shipping off of amazon. You didn't fill out the form at the top of this forum so no way to know if you need an o/s or monitor, if you don't then it's possible to fit in a gtx 670 in a $1,000 build these days.

He is right, I managed to fit in a GTX 670 into my $900 build and still got an i5-3570k and a good MOBO and PSU in it.

BTW, do you live near a Microcenter?
