Pc in one room, tv monitor in another.. best control solution?

i have the wireless keyboard and mouse in my ling room and the PC in my bed room . I connected the PC to my sony bravia flat screen with a 50 feet HDMI cord, but i can't get the mouse and keyboard work . Is there a usb connector with cord that would help my wireless mouse keyboard?

not gonna work too well, if at all- even if you got a 20' extension cord for the mouse/keyboard receiver.

your best and probably only option is to move the pc closer to the living room

The best way I found was to get a Roku and install plex on both it and the pc. It works great for my set up having the pc in my dining room and the tv in my bedroom to watch stuff.

For your set up, with the pc physically connected to the tv, I'd look into a bluetooth keyboard.
