Just as the name suggest, which of the following cards are better:

MSI GTX 560 (non-Ti) Twin Frozr II 1gb
Sapphire HD 6850 Toxic 1gb
Sapphire HD 6870 1gb

Also what card can overclock the best?

Card will be paired with i3 2120 CPU, 4gb Kingston HyperX ram and used for gaming at 1080p (or higher for less demanding games), maxing out the game is not too important to me but i would like high settings.
PSU Is Seasonic SS-500ET 500W
This PC will replace my dead PS3 as a gaming machine :D .
Also do Skyrim favor Nvidia or Radeon cards?

http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2011-gaming-graphics... Both the gtx560 and hd6870 are very close to each other in performance, if they are the same price then the gtx560 may be a better option because of the cooler. It may allow for higher overclocking if you wish to venture down that road in the future. ALLTHOUGH... the referance model AMD cards do vent out the rear of the case which will help your overall ambient temperature. I don't think you can go wrong with either card honestly. :)

PS: Here is a bench for Skyrim that includes the gtx560 and hd6870. http://www.techspot.com/review/467-skyrim-performance/p... Looks like the 6870 is a bit faster in Skyrim. It is only by 6 FPS though, and both cards are at very playable framerates. So once again, either will do you good.

Hmm....Im leaning toward GTX 560 for now for good overclocking (to gtx 560ti stock performance i hear) and also the physx thingy.
What about the hd 6850 toxic version? or is hd 6870 toxic far better?

You started the flame :) .

AMD drivers are not that bad or maybe not anymore that bad, but since you want to overclock, I think GTX 560 would be the best.

The 6870 and 560 non-Ti trade blows, however the 560 should overclock better especially that MSI Twin Frozr card, and i think that you should be able to get that card around 560Ti performance.
Also you are fine with your CPU it will not bottleneck any of these cards.
