Upgrading Socket 775 PC & Turning Socket A into HTPC/Linux Build

Hi,

recently ive been feeling to upgrade my pc to use DDR3 RAM as well as do a couple other things.

im currently using windows 7 professional 64 bit; i should have gotten Ultimate since it has better compatibility for other languages (i got screwed with my prebuilt XP pro since the guy never installed the language pack, and i thought 7pro had the language pack like its predecessor. I couldnt have been more wrong )

Here's my current build:

Asus P5N-T Deluxe Motherboard (Socket 775)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 (2.66ghz)
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 850 Watt PSU
Mixed Brands of DDR2 RAM = 8GB DDR2 Ram
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 550TI 2GB Graphics Cards in SLI
Antec DF-35 Mid Tower (Dark Fleet)

HDDs:

Seagate Barracuda Green ST2000DL003 2TB 5900 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Seagate ST9320423ASG 320GB 7200 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Seagate ST9250421ASG 250GB 7200 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Western Digital Caviar Green WD30EZRS 3TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

So what i wanted to do was change the size of my build to something much smaller and increase the speed and size of my RAM

Heres the possible upgrades i came up with:

Asus P5G41T-MLX PLUS MicroATX motherboard
Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2PT MicroATX motherboard

Cosair XMS3 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM (1 x 8GB)
Crucial Ballistix 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model BLT4G3D1337DT1TX0
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model 992018
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL

I realize i need a SATA internal host PCI Card i was looking at: Vantec UGT-ST310R PCI Host Card - 6 Port, 4 Internal SATA, 2 External eSATA

i have a couple small issues about this though.

I really want:
OCZ RevoDrive PCI-Express SSD ( i want to avoid a 2.5 SSD to save SATA ports)
MicroATX case
(Non stock) socket 775 cpu cooler
More usb ports
And a single slot graphics card that can compare to the two gtx 550ti’s i have (both were 2gb)

I would love your suggestions on this idea, but if you have excess/ spare components (graphics cards, RAM, older CPUs, etc] how can you get rid of them efficiently and not wastefully?

Also where can i get a good AGP graphics card? I have an old HP Pavilion 734N MicroATX socket A motherboard that i would like to turn into a HTPC/ Linux Build
(Athlon 2.8ghz Cpu, 2GB DDR RAM, ATI 256mb AGP Graphics card)

Thanks soo much!
