So I recently got a 128gb Crucial M4, and apparently it doesn't come with any sort of connector and I only have 1 right now. I have a regular sata cable (3gb/s) and I probably need a 6gb/s SATA cable for my SSD. I have looked around a lot and almost no other stores have them.

P.S. I live in Canada, but my dad works in the states so preferably a store we can drive to in canada, or at the least somewhere we can order from in the states (like newegg or amazon).

More about : sata 6gb cable

There's no difference. The cables are exactly the same, just use that cable.

Speed difference is in the interface (Sata 3) not the cable. ;)

Technically SATA 2 cables had to meet lower standards when they were designed. wire diameter and other characteristics can affect the signal and the frequency they can handle.

Practically there's not much of a difference, and the interface is what drives the signal, so if it works you are fine.
