Hello,

So my card has 1024mb of dedicated memory. But in properties it says it has 2815mb of total available memory. That leaves 1791mb for shared system memory. What does that mean? Can it actually use all that other memory and if so, when?

Thanks.

It means that if the 1024mb on your card (faster access for the GPU) is used up, it can use that shared memory to store everything, but it is slower. Thing is, it's pretty rare to use over 1gb vram on one monitor.
