Hyper 212 EVO + Antec One Illusion case

I've bought the Antec One Illusion case and have a Hyper 212 EVO cooler. I don't have all components for my build yet, so I'm not going to put everything in until it all arrives. Looking at the cooler and case, it doesn't seem like it would fit. Does anyone have any experience with these two in combination? I'd like to know if I should look into another case before I go putting everything together. Thanks

Easy fit as the dimensions are similar to the 300 (which i have).

If the width doesn't include the area where the side fan is located, it'll fit easily. It's 8.2" wide and the 212 Evo only requires a case width of 7.26" (it's 6.26" tall, itself).

If the area where the side fan is included in the width, that might be an issue because of the width of the fan. Of course, you can always just remove/not use the side fan, and you're golden.

Thanks guys. I can breathe a little easier now. First build and read a few comments that said it could fit. I look at it and it seems like it wouldn't fit. I'll know soon enough I guess.

I have the same setup - fits well.
