Hello,
I'd like to build my own pc for around 900$

I chose AMD because its cheaper and better so I will name the parts for you and you tell me if they match and if they are any good....Thanks in Advance.
Asus M5A88-m as my motherboard
AMD Fx 8120 as my processor
AMD Radeon 6950 HD as my Graphics card
NZXT Black Guardian Mid tower
Corsair Vengence 8GB (2x4)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
External Power Supply 600 Watts
24x Lightscribe DVD+/-RW
Some Cooling package
Cooler Master 212 Hyper evo

I've searched all the parts on amazon right now and find that they would cost me like 850 $.

About the parts-
please correct me if there some parts are incompatible with each other as this would be the 1st Gaming PC that I would build

Final Concern-
Would it be easy to put everything in place in the tower or would I mess it up and I wouldn't be able to compose it right ?

Thanks in advance

For $900, you could build a very nice Intel rig...give me a few minutes and I could come up with a parts list :)

CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I went with a 2500k because we're on a very tight budget. You can add in a Hyper 212 but it'll bring us 20-30 dollars over-budget. This CPU is very zippy at stock anyways so so you won't need it for awhile!

Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I really like this motherboard. I've used it for a few builds I did for friends and they've had no problems with it since the date of build (around 1 year now).

RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I really like Low Profile RAM..just my thing, you can choose something else if you'd like, of course

PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - Reliable, quiet, and just enough juice for your components!

GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I really wanted to squeeze in a HD7850 in this build, but with $900, I couldn't. It would have brought me 30-40 dollars over budget. 6950 is still a great card nonetheless :)

HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... The case you chose!

DVD drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Total is $900.92!
Any suggestions to this parts list is welcomed, of course!

You're welcome!

These should fit just fine in the case :)  you have nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately, these prices are without taxes...but newegg sometimes doesn't charge taxes for some states (I happen to be the lucky one that doesn't get charged...I live in South Carolina). Shipping will add another 20 dollars to that price tag unfortunately :(

I wish you good luck! If you happen to get charged with taxes, come back to me and I'll see if I can whip up another rig for you! :D
