Hi anyone out there got any advice
I have just upgraded the cpu in this pc to a conroe core 2 duo 2.4 from a pentium D 3.4 the mobo is a foxcon 45gm/cm with intel 945 g chipset
although the system boots and loads windows without any issues , cpuz indicates that the FSB is is only running at 800 instead of 1066 and the cpu under load is only running at 1795 ghz and 1197 at idle
according to the mobo spec this cpu should be compatible ? have tried tweaking various this in the BIOS to no avail !

Motherboards normally ship with a bios which supports the processors and memory modules available at the time. As newer processors are released this bios needs to be updated to support these newer processors, that's assuming the motherboard is up to powering these processors. You probably just need to download the latest bios and flash it to your motherboard for it to work properly with the e6600.
