Hello, I have usually bought Dell throughout the years, but I am really hoping this desktop will last much longer than the XPS 420 I currently have.
Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP
Budget Range: $2,000 After Rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: surfing web/research, editing videos/pictures, desktop publishing/word processing.
Parts Not Required: Need all - plan to use the 420 as backup and bookkeeping (anything not needing internet)
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Dell is most familiar to me, have bought items from Newegg in past.
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: Confused over AMD Radeon vs. NVIDIA GeForce GT (which I currently have.
Overclocking: Not sure what this is.
SLI or Crossfire: Not sure
Monitor Resolution: 1024x768, (because what I am familiar with?)
Additional Comments: I just want speed and quietness, quality for reasonable price.
