I am deciding which of the two GPU is better. The GTS 450 has a faster speed clock, but GT 545 has a better memory. Can you please help. Thank you

Memory doesn't matter. GTS 450 would be better I think, and you should get GTS 450.

Thanks that is also what i read online that clock speed matter most than the memory. Thanks for your input.

Not either, Clock speed also doesn't matter that much :) .

I think the one matters most is the performance and power consumption :) .

So i am guessing the lower the power consumption the better? If so then the GT 545 is better since it is only 70w compared to the GTS 450 which is 106w.

more reinforcement to the cause....

you cant go off of clock speeds and memory speeds and such for a true comparison look at benchmarks online. they will tell you what is faster as many factors apply to each situation. going off of clock speeds to cross a generation gap wont get you anywhere

Forget about comparing specs.
Compare performance.
The 450 wins.
It is one tier above the 545 GDDR5 version and 2 tiers above the GDDR3 version.

Thank you this should sum it. GTS 450 it is. Thank you for all the comments.
