I’m building my first gaming PC and i wanted to know if the investment made in building the PC is good or not. I want the PC to have good longevity. I would like advice or suggestions on the components whether they are not good enough or are overkill and money can be saved.

I wouldn't get the i7-3770K for a gaming build. Save the money and go the i5-3570K route. You also don't specify if you want to OC or not. If you aren't going to OC, you don't need an unlocked CPU or an aftermarket HS.

For the cooler, go with a Hyper 212 EVO, it's half the cost on the website you have listed. (If you plan to OC)
